| Notice how clear my water is. My filter is a 5 Gal. black bucket with a 1500 GPH sump pump in the bottom, a 1" pipe fitting 90 deg. out the side about 1/4 of the way from the bottom, gray landscape rock up to about 4" from the top and then a 2" thick layer of pillow stuffing I got at Wal-Mart for $2.00 a bag. I placed 3 rocks on top of the pillow stuffing and placed some parrots feather grass roots at the very top of the bucket. But the real secret is the creek. |
